The Project Edward Allen As of September 2008 I'll be joining a project run by the Swedish NGO Erikshjalpen (www.erikshjalpen.se) in Bun Tai town, Phongsaly Province, Lao-Peoples Democratic Republic as a Food Security Officer on the project working with several nearby tribal villages to improve healthcare, agriculture and education as part of an integrated development project. Phongsaly is the furthest north province in Lao- Peoples Democratic Republic, and is almost completely mountainous, and has significant hill tribe populations including Akha, Hmong and Yang tribes amongst very many others.
